Teaching Techniques

Central to the Imam Sadr Foundation’s philosophy of education is the accessibility of services to all demographics. While the majority of the students enjoying primary education at the Cultural Compound are residents of the orphanage, the Foundation also admits students from a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds. This interaction proves invaluable toward filling in the gap between poverty and wealth.

Furthermore, the Foundation believes that a meaningful education nurtures the growth of the whole person. Where needed, students have access to trauma counseling, mediation services and other psychological support. These efforts are intended to establish within each student a sense of personal stability and the qualities necessary for healthy engagement with his or her peers.

Lastly, students are exposed to quality moral and religious instruction. Throughout their experience at the Foundation, students are encouraged to seek relational tranquility and healing by choosing to become more merciful and tolerant of one another.
